Course Overview
If you have an interest in business and business management, then this course is ideal. Our foundation year in business management will help you assess your strengths and confirm your specialist area of interest. Throughout the first year of this four-year course, you will develop the skills and confidence to be able to progress on to our BSc Business Management course. This foundation course will enable you to build a solid foundation in business management which can then be applied to the creative industries. You will explore the principles of business enterprise and develop an understanding of how organisations evolve for future sustainable growth, and how you can be a part of that. While the course is rooted in theory, it will incorporate creative thinking and will develop your verbal and presentation skills, too. The course is designed to engage students in collaborative working with students from other subject areas, enhance entrepreneurial skills, and prepare students for industry through practical assessments such as pitches and presentations.
