Course Overview
This course is offered as a four-year programme, including an initial Foundation Year. The Foundation Year will enable you to develop your academic study skills and build confidence in your abilities, identifying your own strengths and development needs for progression onto an undergraduate degree. Employers want graduates who are not just academically qualified, but are also work-ready with professional skills in management and leadership. This course equips you with the skills to become a confident and successful manager. In Year One, students are expected to describe, explain and review concepts theories and models. In Year Two students apply, analyse and evaluate. At Year three independent learning is more embedded and students develop depth of understanding via critical analysis and evaluation. Formative assessment is a key feature of the programme, enabling early feedback to be given on progress and to help students improve their academic performance. The teaching and learning strategies employed throughout the course are those judged to be the most appropriate for each module at each stage and level of the course. The strategies have been designed to ensure that there is progression from formal teaching through to student centred independent learning as the student progresses through the levels of the course.

Entry Requirements
- Application based on previous qualifications: Minimum of 90 credits from a Level 3 qualification such as A Levels or BTECs
- Mature learners (aged 21+): Assessment based entry considering prior experiences (work, voluntary, life, and other experiences) relevant to the course
Additional Requirements
- Personal statement (500 words)
- English language test (minimum 70% score, equivalent to IELTS 6.0)
- Maths test (minimum 50% score)
- SAPE assessment (Screening for Accreditation of Prior Experience)
